Our 2024 title was Barbara Kingsolver’s Pulitzer Prize and Women’s Prize winner, Demon Copperhead. Through this heart wrenching narrative of a young man’s struggle with opioid addiction, we educated the Tri-City community about the dangers of prescription drug overdose.

The One Book, One Community Read Project was launched in 2008 in collaboration with the Alameda County Library, the Fremont Unified School District, and the City of Fremont. The books we have featured thus far are:
